Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Operations Support with leadership and direction to achieve efficient and accurate results.
  • First escalation point for customers with enquires and issue resolution.
  • Supervise the booking of freight and timeslots, guaranteeing the integrity of temperature-sensitive products throughout the supply chain.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve customer key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Report and Review KPI’s
  • Carrying out investigations regarding temperature related issues, damaged or rejected freight. Performing root cause analysis to minimize repeat occurrences.
  • Report and review internal and customer KPI’s to ensure we are exceeding expectations.
  • Ensure that the TMS is fully utilised, enabling complete efficiency for the Operations Support team.
  • Liaise with the Operational Management Team to enhance business practices.
  • Liaise with Local Distribution Managers, communicating customer issues or concerns as required.
  • Train new Operations Support Staff.
  • Keep customers advised of delivery challenges and Rebook freight timeslots as required.
  • Assist with answering the phones; entering bookings; booking timeslots and other support tasks daily.
  • Assist in incident and accident reports and investigations where required.

 What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the transport industry
  • Strong customer service focus and customer retention skills
  • Strong internal operations support skills
  • Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (Truckmate experience is a plus)
  • Strong People and leadership Skills
  • Strong verbal, written and digital communication skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Resourcefulness

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Qualifications in Logistics, Warehousing and/or supply chain or equivalent level of experience
  • Qualifications in Frontline Management or equivalent level of experience

This is a fulltime onsite role. Working Monday to Friday.
